The wastewater collection and drainage from connected communities is done via a sewer network of 90 km (main sewer), via branch sewer and via local sewer networks, which have a total length of 90 km, as well as with the use of special constructions.
The community of Bruneck is drained into a combined sewerage system, the remaining communities are drained into a separate sewerage system (separation of accumulated surface water and wastewater).
In the entire wastewater network no pumping stations are necessary, except for the local feed.
The planning and the implementation of the works were divided among different building contractors and carried out by the wastewater association and the individual communities, respectively.
