The wastewater treatment plant is located shortly before the state border in Winnebach, Innichen, and has been designed for a capacity of 40,000 inhabitants from the resident population, tourism, industry and commerce.
It has a catchment area of 160 km².
The plant is looked after all year round and around the clock by three trained sewage specialists.
